Increase Sperm Count with this Recipe

If you and your spouse are attempting to have a baby, you may be seeking ways to boost sperm count and increase your chances of becoming pregnant. Fertility depends on a healthy sperm count.

Why does sperm count matter when only one sperm and one egg are required for pregnancy? In other words, it improves the chances of a successful pregnancy. When a man ejaculates into a woman, the likelihood of one sperm reaching and implanting itself into an egg increases as the number of sperm in the semen increases.

Here is a recipe to increase sperm count and its health. Wondering why? Read below for more information

  • Remember that old saying about an apple a day keeping the doctor away? Apples contain flavonoids and polyphenols. These compounds control blood pressure and promote good blood circulation by preventing the formation of plaque in blood vessels. Moreover, the compounds in apples regulate the number of bacteria in the large intestine, thereby improving metabolism and absorption of food. People who regularly eat apples report feeling less hungry and are more satisfied after eating food – and an apple. They, therefore, have more energy and stamina.

Bananas also contain a rare enzyme called Bromelain, which helps boost sperm count and motility.

  • Spinach is rich in folate, a known blood flow booster. Folic acid plays a critical role in male sexual function. Low blood folic acid levels have been linked to erectile dysfunction. Combined with a healthy diet, low in refined foods, sugars and inflammatory triggers, chia seeds boost the level of essential fatty acids which promote a good mood and increase the chance of conception. For women undergoing IVF, the Omega 3 fatty acids can improve embryo quality while the zinc augments healthy egg maturation and regulates hormones. Zinc works to reduce the risk of blood clots which cause miscarriages. Men should eat Chia too: Chia seeds are wonderful for augmenting male virility. The antioxidants in chia seeds improve semen quality while the zinc increases testosterone and allows semen to mature properly, improving conception overall.
